Posting up w/ the Cheech Wizard and Cobalt 60 stuff reminded me of the arguable Bodé rip-off of both, by the equally as legendary Ralph Bakshi. 'Wizards' is an animated post-apocalyptic sci-fi/fantasy film about the battle between (appropriately enough) two wizards...one representing the forces of magic and one representing the forces of technology.
Written, produced and directed by Bakshi, 'Wizards' is notable for being his first fantasy film, known up until that point for only creating urban films in the equally as out-there 'Fritz the Cat', 'Heavy Traffic' and 'Coonskin'. Originally released in 1977, it was finally released on DVD back in 2004. A total head-trip and worth checking out, check out the trailer for now...
