As if being on edge about the election ain't enough, another post-season of baseball to contend with. Picked a bad time to quit sniffin' glue I guess. Doh!

GO CUBS! Got in the queue for lottery for playoff tix online, but that was a friggin' long shot to be sure. Guess will just have to be content with watching it on the screen (hopefully surrounded by other men drinking and yelling at the screen). I do a mean "Pat and Ron" imitation tho!
BTW, surprised with you being a fan, and the Tweedy piece below this one, you've not mentioned the Eddie Vedder "Someday We'll Go All The Way" song (certainly catchier and more memorable/tolerable than the current and ancient "Go Cubs Go"?! I'm sure you've heard it by now?
They played it at the park (the wife and I went to the game AFTER they clinched-ugh, but fun nonetheless), and then we saw it used in a highlights reel, and it's MOST affective. Certainly more so than the aforementioned Goodman (ahem) "classic"!
Not really being a Pearl Jam fan ever, I think Ed nailed it on this one (who even knew he grew up in Chicago--I mean we always associate him with the Pacific Northwest, eh?).
